Current Trainees

Fanny Wallace, from Norway, was with us from November 2017 to the autumn of 2019. She arrived with two horses and was very nervous jumping 1.10m. After spending the first winter, spring and summer with us her confidence increased immensely and she reached her targets, competing at the Sunshine Tour in a 1.30m grandprix with Uzar and at her first international 2** 1.35m with Jonti.

In 2019, she competed in two finals which she qualified for at Hickstead out of 130 starters. Riding Uzar she qualified and was placed in both Championships in the Main Arena at Hickstead; a dream come true! She then began competing in 1.35m and 1.40m,, staying confident and completing very competitive rounds.

Fanny Wallace - International Trainee

Nov 2017 onward

Molly first came to us in July 2018, travelling back and forth from Uni and family and work commitments.

Competing a horse called Billy Flintstone in many Newcomer and Foxhunter classes, she has shown great improvement in her riding skills and understanding of young horses; Flinstone is only six years old.

Flintstone will be competed by Alex over winter while Molly concentrates on her University studies at Exeter.

Molly Lambert - Young rider from the UK

July 2018 onward

Andrea Gotterelli - Trainee from Italy

December 2019 onward

Andrea joined the team in December 2019. He is originally from Italy but has lived in the UK for 2 years now.

He's a great asset to our team. His main job is riding the younger horses along side Alex and also helping to maintain the fitness of all the others.

He works closely with Alex making sure the young horses are progressing the right way with a varied work load. He is a very kind and sympathetic rider and we are glad he's part of our team.
